Discover Connection Travel was born in 2012 from a simple passion: a deep love for Morocco and a desire to share its hidden wonders with travellers from around the world.
Our founder, Youssef, grew up in the medina of Marrakech, spending summers in the Sahara with his Berber relatives and winters exploring the Atlas mountains. He saw tourists leaving Morocco without having truly experienced its depth — racing through medinas without understanding their stories, missing the silence of the desert at dawn.
So he built a team of like-minded local guides — each one a specialist in their region — and began offering a different kind of tour. Slower. More personal. More real. Today, over 2,000 satisfied travellers from 32 countries can attest to the result.
We believe travel should create genuine connections between people and places. Every tour brings you closer to the real Morocco — its people, traditions, flavours and landscapes.
We work with local families, choose local restaurants, support Berber cooperatives and practise low-impact travel. Tourism should benefit communities, not extract from them.
